50 ways to communicate your change programme

At a recent workshop, I challenged the participants to identify 50 ways to communicate their change programme. We used a simple framework for change; 5 elements that need to be in place for successful change:

  • Pressure for change
  • Vision for change
  • Capacity for change
  • Actionable first steps
  • Recognition and reinforcement

The groups then identified as many tools, techniques and channels they could think of to achieve communication objectives ranging from raising awareness to getting buy-in and action.

The image below is an abbreviated summary of some (30) of their ideas. It shows a selection of approaches you might consider at different stages of a change programme.
