OR Society Criminal Justice SIG – Summer meeting – June 13th 2016

OR Society logoOur summer event will be held on June 13th from 13.30-16.30 in central London near Euston/Kings Cross stations.

The programme will include demonstration of a multi-criteria mapping tool by Josie Coburn, Sussex University, and talks by Mark Goldsborough, MoJ,  on Criminal Careers Analysis in Youth Justice, Jo Leigh, Loughborough University, on ‘Predictive patrolling for incident response and hotspot targeting’ and Michael Bagg, Roke Manor Research Ltd., on his work relating to the analysis of options for Homeland Security and Law Enforcement activities looking to transfer approaches from defence into wider applications. This includes the development of MCDA tools that enable the inclusion of non-monetised benefits in the process for selecting between project options.
