How OpenStratgies PRUB helped prioritise geospatial R&D in New Zealand

For those of my readers who are interested in case study examples, here’s a link to recently published material from New Zealand. Dr. Phil Driver of OpenStratgeies has been working with the NZ Government and facilitated a number of workshops with multiple stakeholders to explore the opportunities for applying geospatial R&D.

Over 200 people gNZ_PRUBot together in 2014 to identify the priorities and opportunities for geospatial research and development in New Zealand, resulting in guidance that helps connect researchers with what end users need.

Geospatial information can be used to grow more productive businesses, and to deliver social and health services more efficiently. It also helps to manage natural resources more sustainably and to manage risk and respond to disasters more effectively.
