OpenStrategies and Project Management – 2015 events

I’ve written extensively about the value of the OpenStrategies approach, for example as an approach to drive real  Benefits  from projects and programmes. This year there will be several conference and workshop opportunities to find out more about this approach.

On 17th June Merron Simpson will be speaking at Putting down the roots for good governance in London [See Conference Programme]. The following day Merron is running a half day workshop on OpenStrategies. More information at this LinkedIn post

From 23 – 25 June APM Benefits / Value Management / ProgM SIG have organised the First UK Benefits Summit. There have been a couple of Benefits Summits in Australia courtesy of Matt Williams, but this is a UK first! Matt will be in the UK for the duration and he is one of the keynote speakers at the APM conference on 25 June. You can see a Benefits Summit presentation which is on SlideShare, which is highly interactive.

On the morning of 24 June there is an Executive Briefing in Westminster at the prestigious Emmanuel Centre. Matt and Merron will be there and Phil Driver (CEO of OpenStrategies) will join in from New Zealand. If you are in London, and can get along for a bacon butty, and support this innovative event you would be most welcome. There is a workshop in the afternoon and one the previous day in Milton Keynes.

Finally, Phil will be with in the UK during the period 9 – 20 November as he is due to be a speaker at PMI Synergy on Thursday 12 November.  It is hoped that there will also be several one day workshops and 3 day masterclasses.
