How does Operational Research (OR) help managers make better decisions?

Evolve_14Felicity McLeister, who project manages the OR Society’s Pro Bono initiative, has uploaded a presentation that was made at the recent “Evolve 2014” workshop held in Manchester for Third Sector organisations.

By using techniques such as problem structuring methods and mathematical modelling to analyse complex situations, operational research gives those who run organisations the power to make more effective decisions and build more productive systems.
