OR Society Third Sector Interest Group: 17th Oct. – working with OR volunteers

This meeting will hear from Participle – a third sector organisation I have been working with and I will talk about success factors for a pro bono project. I’ll be covering how a pro bono assignment differs from a paid one and sharing some lessons learnt. Amanda Briden from Participle will talk about the organisation and their experience of working with OR volunteers.

Participle is a social enterprise based in London which works with and for the public to create new types of public services that make a real difference in everyday lives. They are committed to developing citizens’ capabilities, so that all can acquire the skills necessary to seize and shape opportunities by designing, developing and taking to scale innovative solutions to social challenges.
