More “management-speak” to avoid

Bernard Marr has written a piece for LinkedIn identifying 30 phrases to avoid at work.  He says they are his top 30 most irritating and overused phrases we hear at work. I am sure you have others that you can add to his list.

My own list of pet-hate words and phrases, used by Management Consultants in particular, is here and includes:

  • in a good place
  • glide-path
  • sighted on that
  • traction
  • face-off
  • view from the bridge
  • H2

So, going forward, (!) I hope you can make a commitment to avoid using these.
