Identifying Lead-Lag Indicators is not enough

One of the most popular posts on my Blog is the one on Leading and Lagging Indicators and the associated article on how OpenStrategies’ PRUB-Thinking can help.

As we enter a period of “financial challenge” it is going to be more and more important for public sector organisations to understand the cause and effect relationship between their activities and the impacts they make in the wider community.  Identifying the chain of Leading and Lagging Indicators is clearly important, but perhaps more important will be the ability to make more explicit links between activities and their eventual impacts.  Identifying possible measurements is not going to be enough.

OpenStrategies’ new PRUB-Validate approach and web-tool goes a long way to making this a reality.  Visit the PRUB-Validate website.
