Criminal Justice Operational Research SIG 27-04-10

Ian Seath and John Cussons will be speaking at the Operational Research Society’s  Criminal Justice Special Interest Group event in Birmingham on 27th April.

They will be presenting a piece of work recently done to look at the cost-benefit of Police Forces moving from tape-based interviewing processes to digital processing.  This work involved process analysis of current and “digital” processes and also showed up some interesting “non-Lean” waste in today’s processes.

The work proved the benefit of going digital, from both a cost and service perspective.
