On 10th July I’m facilitating a workshop with some business partners on the role of the Senior Responsible Owner (SRO) in delivering benefits from projects and programmes.
It’s a half-day event in London and we have Stephen Jenner as a keynote speaker. He’s been described as the “Rottweiler of Benefits Management” and was formerly the head of the £2Bn Criminal Justice System IT Portfolio. Everyone attending will get a complimentary copy of his new book “Realising Benefits from Government ICT Investment – a fool’s errand?”
Full details of the workshop are in the SRO Delivering Benefits Workshop Flyer pdf file and there’s a separate SRO 100709 Booking Form also attached to this message.
You’ll learn about the four types of project that you can have in your portfolio of projects and the implications of these types for SROs. Stephen Jenner will talk about the need for a fundamentally different approach to managing benefits. And, I’ll be sharing some case study examples on how to avoid the fog of project documentation!
If the workshop would be more appropriate for one of your colleagues, please do pass this on.
I hope you will be able to join us.
